Culturalists/Historians/Know-it-alls: Assemble!
What are we looking at here? This is going to bug me. My first thought was Bruce Lee. I’m convinced that’s wrong. They made a big point of Bolin pulling this out of the drawer and then moving on to the Pai Sho board. ideas?

Let’s Talk About Legend of Korra’s “The Terror Within”

image

The switch over to digital releases means we only got one episode of The Legend of Korra tonight… but what an episode! If auto-publishing magic is up to snuff, you should be able to find my review of “The Terror Within” over at Screencrush.

But what did you gals and guys think? Throw down your reactions/insight/theories in the comments or reblogs. We’ll be back with a new episode Sunday!

DIGITAL DISTRO DEETS! - BOOKMARK THIS - Legend of Korra: Book 3

Official word has come down: the first FIVE Korra Episodes (through “The Metal Clan”) are streaming at this link on Nick.com right now.

This Saturday the first EIGHT Korra episodes (through “The Terror Within”) will be streaming, presumably at that link. That is the new link. Bookmark it.

After that, it’s a new episode every FRIDAY starting with “The Stakeout” going up on August 1st.

Hey Korra Nation! Phew. Some of you may have heard versions of this news elsewhere, but here’s the official word. After this Friday’s on-air premiere of Episode 8 “The Terror Within” at 8/7c, all remaining Book 3 episodes will move to a digital rollout. That means two things: 1) Korra is NOT…

the-life-of-a-geek94 said: Because Nick has pulled the last 5 episodes of Legend of Korra for the time being and Bryan Konietzko posted on his tumblr that Legend of Korra is moving to digital, what will happen with this podcast?

Until all the details come out at SDCC this weekend, we don’t really know what the schedule-bending and "move to digital" really mean for the show. But it’s hard to imagine a world where there’s more Korra and not more Republic City Dispatch to follow. There’s a chance they’ll dump the remaining episodes on Nick.com or Amazon Prime. If so, we’ll tackle it accordingly, divided in a way that makes sense to the narrative and to you guys, the listeners. Unfortunately, neither Dave, Devindra, Joanna or Patches are at Comic-Con this year, so we’ll be relying on reporting from inside the room for precise details (which, honestly, will be just as informative and save us a few bucks). I’m sure this announcement gets people down, but remember: We’re getting more Korra. One way or another, Bryke’s show will hit our eyes and blow our minds. The future is murky, but not dour. We’ll address everything that happens
